Autumn / Winter — first run
Æ — 01
No factory, no sample room, no minimum order of three hundred. The pattern is drafted on the table, cut on the floor, and sewn on a single-needle Juki two feet away.
It means we make less. It also means every seam in a sæne garment was put there on purpose, by someone who had to live with the decision.
Æ — 02
Paper, ruler, a lot of walking around in a toile that isn't right yet.
Laid out by hand so the grain runs true. Six panels a leg on the denim.
Single needle, felled seams, bar-tacked everywhere it will be pulled.
Pressed, checked, stitched with the mark, folded, sent.
Æ — 03
Undyed twill takes a mark the first week. Raw denim will not look like this in a year. We build for the version of the garment that exists after you have lived in it, not the one on the hanger.

We shoot our own campaigns. Then we started shooting other people's.
Runs are small and they go. We write when there is something to say.
